Cave etiquete
The fragile natural balance in the underground world can be destroyed by even the briefest interference – for example the flash of photography (which accelerates the growth of algae). For this reason visitors must follow the rules imposed by the tour organisers, however these rules have also been designed for visitors' safety. The most important ones are as follows:
1. Instructions of the staff must be obeyed at all times.
2. During the train ride, visitors must not stand up or lean out; they must not board the train when in motion.
3. Visitors are not allowed to leave the marked paths and must stay in the group and with their guide.
4. Visitors must not touch or damage the stalagmites/stalactites/calcite formations in any way.
5. Visitors must not leave litter in the cave.
6. Taking photographs is strictly forbidden.
7. Smoking in the cave is strictly forbidden.
8. Visitors must not bring food into the cave.
